SF’s Best Kept Shopping Secret: Potrero Hill

As one of the more sunny neighborhoods on the outskirts of the city, Potrero Hill defies San Francisco stereotypes. This quiet neighborhood hugs the curves of the city’s eastern hills, offering stunning views of the Financial District and the SF Bay, and is just 5 minutes away from One Mission Bay. It’s also the perfect place for finding some great home décor!

One of our favorite stops is Collage Gallery. Filled with an incredible selection of locally made of art, home accessories, gifts and jewelry, all masterfully selected and often one-of-a-kind. Collage Gallery represents 100 artists from the Bay Area as well as vintage items and furniture. Delisa, the proprietor — an artist herself — opened the gallery in 1990. For beautiful floral arrangements, Bell & Trunk, an enchanting flower shop is a sanctuary for floraphiles. The sidewalk displays of petals in large aluminum casks create a vision that makes it hard to ignore what’s blooming inside. Looking to build your library? Christopher’s Bookstore is a cute little shop with everything a bookworm’s heart desires. We suggest popping in to find the next book that will keep you captivated for hours. Finally — we highly suggest a trip to Ruby Wine Merchant. This shop is perfect for snagging a bottle of small batch, natural and organic wines from Europe, California, and all the other famous regions. The owners love to chat, and will help you find a selection that best suits your needs.

We look forward to hearing your Potrero Hill favorites! Make sure to tag us on Instagram at @onemissionbay with your fun SF finds!
