New San Francisco Art District: DoReMi

Exciting things are happening in and around Mission Bay as the neighborhood continues to grow and take on an identity uniquely its own.  Case in point – a nearby arts district is emerging and catching the attention of the entire city and beyond.  The new district, known as DoReMi, is developing into San Francisco’s premiere arts and design venue.

Home to some of the most intriguing art galleries and design-inspired studios in San Francisco, DoReMi, (Dogpatch, Potrero Hill, and Mission) is the talk of the town. It has grown quite a bit since its recent inception and now boasts numerous venues for all to enjoy.  In a recent sfgate.com article it is described as the “fastest-growing art neighborhood in the history of San Francisco,” according to Catharine Clark, a native San Franciscan, 25-year gallery owner and cofounder of the district.

DoReMi has also garnered quite a bit of press with a detailed look at its emergence and presence in articles from the San Francisco Chronicle, SFGate.com and The Potrero View.   Coupled with a diverse and amazing food scene, the district has all the makings for success as it embraces the artistic nature that is truly unique to San Francisco.
